Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some questions that parents frequently ask about our services:
Do you follow any specific curriculum?
We have carefully prepared curricula which we follow with all our learners. At your request, we can also align our lessons with other curricula and with any school's scheme of work.
Do you provide feedback and updates?
Not only for English but also for Math, we offer regular progress reports and parent updates, and we help track the goals for every student.
What English skills are taught in your classes?
We focus on speaking fluency, listening, pronunciation, grammar, writing, spelling, reading skills, and vocabulary building.
What topics do you cover in Math?
We cover fundamental concepts like arithmetics, geometry, and algebra — based on each grade level. We will also break down word problems and teach learning strategies for clear understanding and confidence.
What makes your lessons different?
Our unique teaching methodology uses clues, guiding questions, and examples to train our students to think for themselves; direct definitions and explanations are reserved until after the student has gained a conceptual understanding of the topic being taught.
This approach builds their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, which have great value even outside the classroom.
How much are your classes?
Our structured weekly program starts at 128,000 NGN per term (4 months), depending on the frequency of lessons.
How long is each lesson?
Each lesson lasts for 45 minutes. This is timed to match children's natural attention span, to end before cognitive fatigue sets in, and to avoid the effects of extensive staring at screens.
Do you teach online or in person?
All lessons are delivered online via Zoom or Google Meet, ensuring flexible scheduling and access from anywhere.
What subjects do you offer?
We offer Math and English tutoring to students from Grade 1 to Grade 9.
